Four Seasons Hotel
Denver, Colorado

The goal of the client was to create a Four Seasons Hotel in Denver offering a blend of urban sophistication and a connection to the nearby Rocky Mountains. The lighting design had to be carefully integrated into the environment to emphasize the warm tones and the subtleties of the colors of the sunset. The final design and the control of the lighting at various times of the day allow the interior to change and adapt to the downtown environment and the changing daylight. The Four Seasons Hotel Denver borders a very vibrant downtown area and patrons walking by can look into the lobby public areas and be drawn inward with the lighting techniques used in ceiling coves, lighting for significant artwork and careful placement of other decorative and integrated lighting. The LLD scope of work included the design of all public interior spaces of the hotel, spa, food and beverage venues, exterior terraces and pool deck and the branded residences. Under tight economic conditions the project never compromised the quality expected with a Four Seasons property.
