This award-winning, cascading hillside resort blends well along the Red Sea coast. The exterior lighting scheme creates a warm and inviting village feeling and was carefully designed with constant communication with the design team. Construction phases including on-site step by step fixture locations as the project progressed. The warm subtle interior atmosphere reflects the Design Team’s goals creating a dynamic environment that is apparent as soon as you arrive at the resort’s front door. Integration of lighting within architectural and interior design elements was key to keeping the ceilings as clean as possible. Centralized dimming controls sets mood, saves energy consumption and allows the lighting to change along with the sun. LLD scope of work included the design of all interior and exterior spaces within the resort. LLD has continued to travel to and maintain, upgrade, and expand the resort over the last 20 years.
