Hunt Oil Headquarters

With its prominent position at the entrance of downtown, the new Hunt Corporate Headquarters has quickly become a landmark for the city of Dallas. The 475,000 square foot building stands 14 stories tall, accommodating offices, conference rooms, and break rooms. Dramatic, tall ceilings require creative, maintainable lighting solutions that required sophisticated lighting controls. The client desired the latest lighting technology, which allowed LLD to implement the use of LED and daylight harvesting systems, saving the client a substantial amount of energy costs for the life of the building.

All office spaces are designed with removable partitions so any space can be rearranged without major construction. The lighting follows this theory with all 2x2 direct and indirect fixtures being on a plug-and-play wiring system, allowing relocation with ease.

A notable termination space at the top of the cylinder portion within the building lies the Treaty Room, a great dining room with

the capacity of 150 guests. The Treaty Room takes advantage of downtown views from within and becomes a dramatic vision

in the night sky.
