Bishop's Lodge- Auberge Resorts Collection

Recently awarded Travel + Leisure’s 2022 #1 Resort in the West, and One of the Best New Hotels in the World by Conde Nast Traveler Annual Hot List 2022, LLD did the final lighting adjustment to complete our work on the original project in June of 2021. The project has some history and we had to respect that. Settled more than 150 years ago by Bishop Jean Baptiste Lamy, this iconic Santa Fe landmark has undergone a sensitive restoration to preserve its distinctive Southwestern heritage for the next generation. On site surveys were mandatory to understand the existing construction and conditions that had to be worked around. It was tricky to implement modern day LED lighting techniques, typically associated with LLD resorts at a 5 Star Level of quality, without making the final product look out of place. I think we accomplished that. The exterior aesthetic of the resort is one of the signatures of the resort. Traversing individual buildings scattered site wide was a highly studied fact on how that steered the exterior lighting solutions. Adjacent individual residential properties were also thought of when introducing exterior lighting layers. The project now moves forward with new phases including a Spa and Fitness Center that LLD is excited to be involved with.
