Perot Family Offices
Dallas, Texas

The project was an honor to be a part of and seeing Ross Perot Sr. in his office when the project opened was all worth it. Every inch of the project included the latest technology possible, and the lighting solutions were highly designed to seamlessly blend in the interior architectural environment. The Turtle Creek location allowed the Perot Family to return close to downtown Dallas and the site was unique within itself bordering the Katy Trail which had its own issues to resolve. The project “campus” is organized around a central space that Mithun referred to as an “intersection” where circulation patterns came together, a modern version of a grand stair and employee collaboration spaces. Lines of LED lighting blend well and feel like they belong in the organized spaces. All this internal organization went right to the outside courtyard spaces with organized tree patterns that are celebrated with rows of lighting. Spaces of note are a centralized dining hall and an interpretive exhibit space highlighting the legacy of Ross Perot Sr. and his family. The highly performing building supports energy conservation by daylight sensors to lower energy conservation even further.
